As a local resident I have seen the local councillors do nothing to lead the fight against this overdevelopment and it was clearly visible from the planning meeting that it was down to the local Residents Team of Brian Eagling, Darren Wise, Julia Rogers and the Bulletin Editor Ron Ower who informed the 300 plus residents who attended the Town Hall on a cold wet night last year of the issues around the Hospital Site. If it was not for their actions especially leading from the front, then these plans would clearly have been voted through without much challenge. I shall certainly be voting for the three residents councillors this year as I have no trust or time for the current incumbents.

There is only one vote for me whom we stood toe to toe on that cold wet night outside the town hall and the rest who just passed as by.
